Story
Hi everyone,
Ben, Christina and I hope you can all join us in Mackay's first Melanoma March.
We are marching in honour of our beautiful mother who sadly passed away recently due to Melanoma. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic Melanoma in October 2016 and battled with it unitl Novemeber 2018. Throughout her time with melanoma she endured, surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Unfortunatley the cancer was progressing faster then any of the treatments were working. Mum was then put into pallative care where Ben, Christina and I cared for her from home, alongside the amazing Blue Care team, as well as help from family and friends.
Fundraisers like the Melanoma March helped our mum recieve countless treatments such as Immunutherapy.
We hope you can join our team and participate in the march with us, however, if you can't, a donation will go a long way in helping finding a cure to Melanoma.
